Mr. Jimenez has been in the school business for over 26 years at Judson ISD wife to Demetria and daughter Hannah. He is a movie buff, Dallas Cowboys fan, and is active with Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church with the ACTS Community in New Braunfels, TX. He has been through as some would say through the trenches from a groundsman, locksmith, fire alarm intercom tech, HVAC controls, and titled since 2013 Energy Specialist. He and his boss David Oehler have instrumented $3.2 million in Rebates with their power company CPS and have had a great partnership throughout the years. He hopes one day to become an Energy Manager for a school district to gather savings to bring back into the classroom through Energy Efficiency projects.

Malek Bekka

Executive Director of Consulting, EMA
Malek serves as a firm Principal and the Executive Director of Consulting at EMA. He has almost 15 years of experience in complex HVAC design, sustainability initiatives, client relations, and managing the commissioning process. Malek has partnered with some of the largest school districts in Texas to provide energy and sustainability services. He has assisted numerous owners in obtaining LEED and green certifications. Through his leadership, his department has helped owners save millions of dollars by optimizing the performance of their systems. Malek is actively involved in TEMA and has been a member for over ten years. During this time, he has presented on several sustainability and energy topics. He also pours into the organization by leading the Controls Certification courses available through TEMA.
